Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
Matthew 28:19-20
At MBC, we believe in spreading the Good News of Jesus both locally and around the world. Our church has a long history of supporting mission work, and our main missionary society is named after the missionary Florence Rowland, who served in South India from 1929-1963.
Florence Rowland Missionary Society In the recent past, the Florence Rowland Missionary Society worked under the umbrella of the American Baptist organization White Cross, helping to meet the needs of missionaries and programs in both the United States and overseas. We also provided financial assistance to local establishments (e.g. Saturday’s Kitchen, New Day, Inc.) and national operations (e.g. Samaritan’s Purse), and encouraged participation in Operation Christmas Child and food/clothing drives. To support these efforts and missions, we arranged several fundraisers each year. Current Mission Support At this time, our congregation strives to take the love of Jesus to both our community and the world. Our Community:
